Thank you for coming to register your children for St. Matthew's Religious Education programs for the 2009-2010 school year. We are pleased to provide you with our fifth year of online registration.
Our Religious Education program begins in Pre-K and continues through High School. As this program builds upon itself, it is important for students to attend on a regular basis each year so they have a solid foundation of their faith formation. Students preparing for the Sacraments of Penance, First Eucharist & Confirmation must consistently attend classes in the two grade levels preceding the year of the sacrament.
Parents, your interest and participation in your child's religious education are most important. Together we share the responsibility of passing on the beliefs and values that mean a great deal to us. In addition to attending class, it is important that families attend Mass and receive the sacraments of Eucharist and Reconciliation on a regular basis. You are your children's primary role models in walking the faith.
